Upcycled bags made from coffee pad wrapping

Going through my stash and finished objects (hoard in the lair of the dragon) each spring to get an idea what I´ve hoarded over the years (guilty me!), I came across two bags I made about four years ago. The orange one has been in daily use for about half a year and still looks decent. The brown toned one has not been used to that date and has been made in the same technique. The baggies have been neatly cut into sewable rectangles and sewn together to form the bag. For more durability, I covered the orange one with some extra transparent film/foil which looks great and creates a kind of scifi look and feel. They consist of those aluminium baggies in which they sell coffee and coffee pads; I was an avid collector of these and still have some of those in my stash, also in bright green and some are no longer produced this way (yes, product designers re-invent their stuff in short cycles it seems).
Both bags are lined with a light but sturdy cotton fabric in black (surprise!) and have a pair of handles neatly sewn on so that they won´t rip out when carrying tons of stuff.
To be honest, I have no idea what to do with all those spare aluminium baggies: I´d love to convert them into more of those bags but being realistic about my spare time for crafting with a quirky owlet around, I have to find another way to put them to a good use.
