Heavily embroidered pencilcase

Things have been quiet in my blog lately which was due to a massive laod of catching up with the big, scary RL, a quirky eight (!!!) old owlet and one massive to-do/-sew-list. However I managed to make something I´ve planned to do for AGES, twice so dearly because I´ve got a crapload of pencils/writing instruments floating and cluttering around. On the one hand it makes me crazy (raaaa) on the other hand I find it practical because this way you always have a pen at hand:-p.
Insert photo here: Turned out to be the perfect project to use up scraps of everything you´ve hoarded (ahem!) along your crafting journey, the perfect excuse to keep all the scraps of Something. Here some details: Taking some of those pearls to a good use. The white bubbles are no pearls but a special embroidery stitch which creates little intertwined domes, very cute.
