The subversivly recycled quilting project

Yes, I´m planning to do my *second* quilt ever, somehow this quilting stuff seems to be contagious with no cure....I´m in need of MOAR blankets and soft things now that the little owlet roams free.

The subversive part is: If dh finds out where I got the fabric from he´ll explode right away:-D! Some time ago I went through my clothes, sorting out stuff I haven´t worn in years, stuff I´ve had since childhood (haven´t grown much since then...) and the like. I´m a sucker for throwing away things due to my hoarding instincts but somehow I still manage to keep clutter down. And just in case nostalgia overcomes me, I usually take a photo of what I´m to throw away. Lookie:


Oh yes, it´s a mess.

Long story short, I donated part of this old stuff to goodwill (because it´s still okay/wearable) aaaand the other part (pictured!) migrated from my clothes drawer into my fabric drawer (this is the point dh won´t understand:-D!). I already started cutting those shirts down and once it´s done I´m planning to fill him in anyway. Kinda wondering if migrating stuff counts as de-cluttering...
