Second hand store haul

Yes, I finally made it, waddling to the second hand store of my choice after my doctor´s appointment. All hell was loose there since it´s turned quite cold a few days before, everyone was looking for warm clothes and it seems like a lot of people have to watch their budget these days. Long story short, I was looking for something formless (read: tent-like), warm because my knitting time is so limited between freelancing, herding the owlet and sleeping. I came across this which already saved my day more often than I´d like to admit:

I call it the SAVING THROW because it was obscenely cheap. Once the saving throw and mi were home, I put it into the washing machine which was a mistake because the thing took the opportunity to cover EVERYTHING ELSE in blackish fur. Plus, it FELTED into one solid fabric! After the first shock, I´m still allright with it, the felted part only means it´s close to waterproof now.-D!

(yeah, I´m just knitting something, it´s only a hat for the little owlet, hardly worth mentioning)
