Knitting time

Being in dear need of a fitting hat/cap kinda thing I started knitting this one: black and fuchsia stripes from some recycled wool I had used for a (frogged) previous project.

We might have an extraordinarily dry and warm golden, golden autumn but I´m sure it´ll be bitter cold in a few days and I need something to protect my sensitive kobold ears. I´m going for a very slouchy type of hat with this one since I have to stuff a pile of tailbone lenght hair and at least one hairstick into it (plus the ears!!!) which ismore than my old black knit hat can handle. With the colour combination it fits my gothy wardrobe which is important of course. Originally I wanted to go for a touch of glittery silver along with the fuchsia but the prize of silver thread is a turn off.
